Diamond Pistols is the music project of Christian Dold[1], an American music producer and songwriter, based in Los Angeles, California.[2]

Career

He was active as early as 2015, producing a song with Shift K3y and Born Dirty which released on Dim Mak.[3]

In 2019 his production efforts on Jackson Wang's "Mirrors" resulted in a Billboard #1.[4]

His production "Racks on Racks" for Lil Pump was released on the album Harverd Dropout, which is certified Gold in the US.[5][6]

In 2020 he collaborated with Rich Brian to bring the single "Time Machine".[7]

He also produced two songs on Yung Gravy’s album Gasanova, which peaked at #52 on the billboard top 100 albums. "Miami Ice", and “Drip On My Dresser” with Chief Keef.[8][9]

His production with DVBBS ft. Blackbear and 24KGoldn was certified platinum in Canada.[10]

In 2021 he produced "Edamame", with Rich Brian and bbno$.[11] The track is certified Gold in the USA[12] The song was remixed by Diplo later that year, as well as used in a trailer for the Garfield movie.[13]

He began working more with Rich Brian, notably releasing the song "Time Machine"[14]

He worked with bbno$ on “Help Herself”, which was described by Earmilk as “a new, more vulnerable direction”.[15]

His production of “Run it” with Rick Ross, Rich Brian, and DJ Snake was used in the trailer and film for the Marvel movie “Shang-Chi”.[16]

2022 saw seven singles produced for bbno$, Pogo, Top Gun, I See London I See France, piccolo, mathematics, and C'est la vie, with Yung Gravy and Rich Brian.[17]

In fall 2022, his song with Space Rangers “THE MOVE” was featured in an apple keynote presentation debuting the dynamic Island on the iphone 14.[18]

His production of “Enough” with Charlieonnafriday is certified gold in the US, and peaked on #22 on Billboard’s pop airplay charts.[19]

In 2023, Diamond Pistols launched a joint venture record label with Patrick Moxey’s Ultra International Music Publishing. The first artist signed was Jutes, who is a frequent Illenium and Demi Lavato collaborator.[20]

He produced Yung Bae's single "Too Cool To Feel This Lonely" alongside YOG$.[21]

He also released an EP titled "Look In The Mirror" with Ultra Records.[22]

He is credited on the “Serving Country” album from Yung Gravy,[23] and joined Yung Gravy’s North American tour playing guitar. [24]
