Dewey Grantham Jr. (1921-2004) was a history professor and author in the United States.[1] Vanderbilt University has a collection of his papers.[2]

Born in Georgia, he attended the University of Georgia, served during World War II, and attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He began his career at Vanderbilt University in 1952 and retired in 1991. He donated his book collection to the Nashville Public Library.[3]


He was a Guggenheim Fellow.[4]
