Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) is an all-boys Anglican secondary school located in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. Founded in 1925 by the Church Missionary Society (CMS), it is one of the oldest and most prestigious secondary schools in southeastern Nigeria.

History

The school was established in 1925 in memory of the late Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther Dennis, the first African Bishop of the Anglican Church in Nigeria. The founding vision was to provide quality Western education in a Christian environment for young African boys.

The school quickly rose to prominence for its academic excellence, discipline, and production of notable alumni who have contributed to Nigeria’s development in various sectors.
