Dome Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian event management company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The company operates an indoor entertainment venue in Worli, Mumbai, and has hosted several major sporting and entertainment events, including the first NBA games held in India in 2019.
History
[edit]Dome Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on 28 October 2014.[1] The company was founded by Mohomed Morani and Mazhar Nadiadwala, both of whom have backgrounds in the Indian entertainment industry.
Venue operations
[edit]The company operates an indoor entertainment venue at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium complex in Worli, Mumbai. The facility has been used to host various sporting events, concerts, and award ceremonies.
NBA India Games 2019
[edit]In October 2019, the venue hosted the first NBA preseason games ever held in India, featuring the Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers.[2][3] The historic games marked a significant milestone for basketball in India and represented a major international sporting event for the venue.
Other events
[edit]The venue has hosted various other entertainment events, including international music concerts and award ceremonies. In 2018, it hosted a concert by American band OneRepublic during their first tour of India.[4]
The venue has also been used for Disney's stage musical production of Beauty and the Beast in India.[5]

[edit]Mohomed Morani is a co-founder and director of the company. He has also been involved in cricket team ownership, serving as co-owner of the Northern Warriors team in the T10 League based in the United Arab Emirates.[6]
Mazhar Nadiadwala
[edit]Mazhar Nadiadwala serves as Managing Director of Dome Entertainment. He is a member of the Nadiadwala family, which has been involved in Indian film production for several decades.
