Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry are media personalities known for interviewing notable YouTubers and discussing news about the creator economy.[1][2] Their YouTube channel, Colin and Samir, has over 442 million views and 1.56 million subscribers.[3] The pair gained prominence as they interviewed the platform's largest personalities such as MrBeast, Dude Perfect, and Yes Theory. The pair also host a weekly podcast called the Colin and Samir Show and cover the creator economy in a weekly newsletter called The Publish Press.
History
[edit]Chaudry grew up in Los Angeles, California and studied film while making homemade movies with his friends.[4] He studied Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz while he was also president and captain of the school's lacrosse team. Rosenblum, a native of Princeton, New Jersey, attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in economics and Italian while playing on the school's lacrosse team.[5]
Chaudry founded The Lacrosse Network and connected with Rosenblum in 2012, a fellow lacrosse enthusiast. They eventually sold their startup in 2014 to Whistle Sports and continued to work for the company until leaving in 2016 to become independent creators.[6][1] In 2016, the pair began working on a YouTube channel focused on telling the stories of other creatives.[7][2]
In 2022, the pair reached 1,000,000 subscribers while presenting live at VidSummit,[8] were presenters at the 2022 and 2023 Streamy Awards,[9] and hosted a roundtable with the award show's winners. The pair hosted the 2025 Spotter Creator Summit.
Colin and Samir were asked to produce an official 48 minute behind-the-scenes documentary of Beast Games for Mr. Beast in 2024.

Personal Life
[edit]Samir Chaudry married his wife Katie in 2022 and Colin Rosenblum married his wife Madelyn in 2024. In 2025, Colin and Samir both lost their homes to the Palisades Fires.[11]
