Clara LaFlamme is an Actress, Director, and Writer. Her most notable performances include starring and writing Bear on Mars, a short film trilogy (2016-2019)^[1], The Life of Me (2023) as a primary dancer, and recently writing her first feature film Out of the Box.^[2]

Personal Life and Theatre

Born in Nashville, Tennessee^[3] LaFlamme started acting at a young age. At the age of ten, LaFlamme performed in her first Community Theatre production of Beauty and the Beast Jr (2016). Throughout the years, she continued to perform in her Community Theatre. Her more notable performances being Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town (2022) and Neleus in Mary Poppins Jr (2019)^[4]. Throughout her time performing with community theatre LaFlamme started training in acting with Nashville Childrens Theatre and Nashville Acting Studio.^[5] Throughout her time performing in theatre and film LaFlamme trained in Pre-Professional Ballet and Competitive Dance under Tiffany Payton (Dance South Performing arts).^[6] Clara LaFlamme has Graduated High School and is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology from Western Governers University^[7]^[8]

Other Work

In addition to acting, LaFlamme finds importance in expressing art through writing. Although the project is still in development, she has spoken about ClarsWrite.^[9] A non-profit project dedicated to the art of writing. And the importance of the fact that it's human nature to express themselves through art, and today's society fails to do so.^[10]

Clara LaFlamme also works as a writer and director with her first Feature Film in development titled Out of the Box.^[11] No further details have been released regarding the film yet. Although it is rumored that the film is aimed towards the teen suicide crisis. This has been confirmed by Laflamme and is stated on her ClarsWrite website.^[12]
