C.I.P. Citizens In Power (CIP) is a non-profit, educational, and research organization based in Cyprus. It is a leading institution in the fields of global education, social innovation, citizen engagement, entrepreneurship, STEM, artificial intelligence (AI), clean energy, and sustainable growth.
Overview
[edit]CIP has been involved in more than 70 European Union-funded projects, including KA3 actions, AMIF, ENI CBC Med, COSME, and Horizon Europe. These projects aim to foster innovation, education, and sustainability at both national and international levels.
The organization operates under four main departments:
- Department of Entrepreneurship – Focuses on business development, startup support, and economic innovation.
- Department of Global Education – Engages in educational initiatives and international collaboration in learning methodologies.
- Department of Social Innovation and New Technologies – Works on the development and application of innovative solutions in technology and social progress.
- Department of Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs – Promotes cultural exchange and humanitarian efforts in various communities.

- [Sign2Inclusion](https://sign2inclusion.com) Sign2Inclusion is a project that promotes democratic participation and inclusion for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) secondary students by developing a Multimodal Sign Language Lexicon and Virtual Museum focused on Environment and Emerging Technologies in STEM education.
- [TRACE Project](https://traceproject.eu) TraCE: The Travelling Case of an Experimental Archaeologist is an Erasmus+ project that promotes experimental archaeology as a STEAM education approach, aiming to engage school students, especially girls, in STEM disciplines and enhance their digital literacy and scientific skills.

- [Math 4 Sustainability](https://math4sustainability.eu) – Math4Sustainability is a project that uses mathematical puzzles and socio-scientific dilemmas to promote environmental sustainability, engage students in STEM careers, and encourage discussions on green practices.
- [Flexchess](https://flexchess.eu/) – FlexCHESS is a project that aims to enhance renewable energy integration by developing flexible energy storage solutions using digital twins, Virtual Energy Storage Systems (VESS), and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) to improve grid stability and foster innovation in smart grids.
