Christopher U. Browne is the John and Adrienne Mars Director of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum. After active service in the Navy as an F-14 Radar Intercept Officer, Chris Served in the Navy reserves before leaving as a Commander.[1] In 1988 Chris began working for MWAA as an operations specialist before becoming the director of Reagan National Airport and later Dulles International Airport. [2]

[3]In 2017 Chris Joined NASM as deputy director[4]. After serving as interim director[5] in 2018 and 2021, Chris was awarded the directorship in 2022.
