Christopher R. Swanson is the sheriff of Genesee County, Michigan, USA.[1] He endorsed Joe Biden in a TV ad.[1] He endorsed Kamala Harris at the 2024 Democratic National Convention.[1]
On February 6, 2025, he announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Michigan in the 2026 Michigan gubernatorial election.[2]
