Chionye Hencs Odiaka (born 10 November 1966) is a Nigerian humanitarian, emergency management expert, and political commentator. He is the founder and director of the Global Relief & Emergency Assistance Foundation (GREAF), a non-governmental organization focused on disaster response, humanitarian advocacy, and public health education in Nigeria. He has contributed opinion pieces to national newspapers and participated in Nigerian politics, including contesting for a Senate seat in 2023.
== Early life and education == Odiaka was born in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. He attended St. Anthony's College, Ubulu-Uku, and later studied at the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State. He completed professional development courses at the University of Oxford's Department for Continuing Education.
He holds a Certified Management Professional (CMP) credential from the London Bridge Business School in the United Kingdom. Odiaka also completed several international training programs, including:

== Career == Odiaka is the founder and executive director of the Global Relief & Emergency Assistance Foundation (GREAF), a non-profit organization based in Delta State, Nigeria. GREAF has been active in disaster relief operations, flood awareness campaigns, and pandemic response. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization led sensitization efforts and distributed over 6,000 free face masks to vulnerable communities in Delta State.[1]
Odiaka is also the Chief Executive Officer of Odichindu Nigeria Ltd.

Political career
[edit]Odiaka began his political career as a member of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and contested for a councilorship position in Lagos State in 2011. He later became an early member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In the 2023 Nigerian general elections, he contested for the Delta North Senatorial District seat under the Action Democratic Party (ADP).[4]
