Chandra Vadhana Radhakrishnan (born 24 July 1981), alias dr.ceevee [1] is an Indian-born Australian academic, social entrepreneur and author. In 2018, she received special recognition in social entrepreneurship at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Empretec Women in Business Award, becoming the first Indian woman to receive this honor [2][3]. She founded Prayaana Labs[4][5], a non-profit organization in India aimed at empowering women through education and entrepreneurship development.

Education

She completed an MBA from the School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)and a Ph.D. in Management from CUSAT[6], along with Masters in Psychology from University of Madras.[citation needed]. She was awarded a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship and conducted research at Stanford University’s Gendered Innovations Lab[7], focusing on sustainable entrepreneurship[8]

Radhakrishnan is currently a Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Australia[9], where she teaches and researches on subjects related to entrepreneurship, innovation, gender, and sustainability[10]. She is also a guest faculty and mentor at the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation[11], University of California, Berkeley.

Social Entrepreneurship

In 2017, Radhakrishnan founded Prayaana Labs, Kerala's first employability, entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystem for women.[12] The organization aims to empower women by equipping them with skills necessary for career advancement. Prayaana Labs has conducted career orientation programs for over 20,000 girls and women and pioneered the Comeback 2 Career (C2C) mission, enabling qualified housewives to re-enter the workforce.[13] Prayaana Labs served as a community partner[14] of the Kerala Startup Mission, a Kerala government body promoting entrepreneurship.

She serves as the Managing Editor of SheSight Magazine[15][16], a digital publication highlighting inspiring stories of women and promoting gender equity through journalism and community engagement.

Radhakrishnan directed a Malayalam Webmovie titled The Identity[26], which narrates the story of an Indian woman struggling to establish her identity in an abusive marriage.[27][28]

Radhakrishnan worked as a radio jockey at All India Radio, Rainbow FM Kochi 107.5 from 2008 to 2021, as RJ Chandra, hosting entertainment and educational shows. She was also a voice and dubbing artist for various Malayalam films between 2010 and 2021, including Ayaal Jeevichirippundu, Matchbox, Sarvopari Palakkaran, Kunju Daivam, Mamangam, and Oru International Local Story
