Candice Pascoal (born January 15, 1979) is a Brazilian-American entrepreneur, author, investor and philanthropist known as the founder and chief executive of the New York–based digital-innovation agency Alfredus,[1][2][3] and founder of Kickante,[4] a crowdfunding fintech.

Early Life and Education

Born and raised in Brazil, Pascoal pursued international studies in business development and marketing. She studied international business at the University of Salvador (Brazil) and completed executive programmes at MIT Sloan (“Corporate Innovation: Strategies for Leveraging Ecosystems”) and INSEAD (“Social Impact”).[5]

Career

Pascoal is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alfredus, a venture incubator and boutique technology agency established in 2022 with clients including Cartier and Microsoft.[6][7] The firm assists established companies with accelerating digital growth and launching full digital business initiatives without the need for extensive in-house development. In 2023, Entrepreneur magazine recognized Alfredus as one of the “Top 10 Digital Innovation Agencies to Watch.”[1][6]

Prior to Alfredus, Pascoal found her own award winning fintech Kickante, and worked in corporate America focused on global business development, consumer marketing and fundraising roles.[8]

Pascoal is the author of Seu Sonho Tem Futuro ("Your Dream Has a Future"),[9] and a photojournalist book to support underprivileged children in the Netherlands.

Awards and Recognition

In 2017, Pascoal won first place as a Laureatte of the prestigious Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, an international business plan competition that recognizes female entrepreneurs .[10] In the same year, Vogue Brasil featured Pascoal, highlighting her as one of the standout Brazilian women entrepreneurs recognized on a global stage.[4]

Pascoal's work through Kickante was also acclaimed by Forbes, which referred to the platform as the "Indiegogo of Brazil," emphasizing her influence in democratizing access to funding for creatives, startups, and nonprofits across Latin America.[8]
