Comment: If there is secondary, independent coverage about the subject, the article could stand. However, based on what it seems, the current references are press releases/primary sources and cannot be used to establish WP:NCORP. The article also seems to have been written in a promotional manner. WormEater13 (talk • contribs) 04:09, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

Caezik SF & Fantasy is an imprint of Arc Manor Publishers, a Maryland-based publishing house known for its focus on science fiction, fantasy, and related genres. The imprint specializes in both new works as well as the re-publication of select classic works within speculative fiction.
History
[edit]Caezik SF & Fantasy was launched as part of Arc Manor’s shift in focus from reprints to newer works in the genre while another imprint, Phoenix Pick was designated as the primary imprint for reprinted works. Announced in September 2020, the imprint quickly garnered attention with its initial release being a newly rediscovered manuscript by Robert A. Heinlein, titled by the Publisher and the author’s estate as The Pursuit of the Pankera. The book became a Locus (magazine) hardcover bestseller[2]
Caezik quickly followed this with new books by other prominent authors in the genre including Robert J. Sawyer (The Oppenheimer Alternative), Harry Turtledove (Salamis (novel)) and Grandmaster (a SFWA designation) Mercedes Lackey (Reboots: Undead Can Dance).
Publishing focus
[edit]Caezik SF & Fantasy is dedicated to releasing science fiction and fantasy titles. While the emphasis is on new works of fiction by both established writers and newer voices, it also publishes ‘classic’ science fiction works. Notable classic authors published by Caezik include Robert A. Heinlein (including Double Star, the book that won him his first Hugo Award, Leigh Brackett (who was also a script-writer for Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back, Keith Laumer, and Cordwainer Smith, amongst others.
Caezik publishes a number of ‘hard’ science titless like In the Belly of the Whale by Michael Flynn and the Apollo Rising trilogy by two-time Sidewise Award winner, Alan Smale.
Organizational structure
[edit]Caezik SF & Fantasy operates under the umbrella of Arc Manor Publishers, founded by Shahid Mahmud in 2006. With its headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. The team includes Associate Publisher and Executive Editor Lezli Robyn and publisher Shahid Mahmud. All Caezik titles are traditionally published and distributed through established channels, including Consortium Book Sales and Distribution (CBSD), a division of Ingram Industries.
Awards and nominations
[edit]Sleeping Worlds Have No Memory by Yaroslav Barsukov was nominated for a Nebula Award in the best novel category (2024).[3]. This is only the third time in the last decade that a novel by a small press has been nominated in this category[4]
In the Belly of the Whale by Michael Flynn has been nominated for a Prometheus Award in the best novel category (2024).[5]
