St Andrew's Church is the oldest Church in Bellshill. The congregation was a Relief Church congregation that had emerged from the Church of Scotland congregation at Bothwell in 1762. They worshipped at Blackmoss, east of the site of the current Neilson Halls, the church halls of St Andrew's Church.
The congregation seceded from the Church of Scotland in 2000 and re-entered the United Free Church of Scotland the following year.
The current minister is Rev. Jason Lingiah, Inducted to the charge in 2021.
