The Battle of Ikotobo, also known as the Water Picket Affair of Ikotobo, was a military engagement between the forces of the British Empire and the Aro Confederacy. This battle was one of the most significant of the war, along with the Battle of Edimma and the Battle of Ikorodaka.

Little is known about the battle itself, but from what we do know, one of the British axes advanced up to the town of Ikotobo, being met with stiff resistance by Aro forces. These forces were reportedly well disciplined, being entrenched outside the town. Eventually, the Aro forces were pushed back by the advancing British.
