The Lakhdarids[1] (Banu Al-Akhdar)[2] or Al-Akhdariyya[3] (in Arabic: بَنُو (الْأَخْضَرِيِّ or الْأَخْضَرِيُّونَ) are a dynasty Alide Sherifian descendant of the prophet of Islam Muhammad through his grandson Abû Mûhāmmād al-Hāssān Ibn `Alî Ibn Abî Tālîb, present in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Yemen, Iraq, Libya[4][5], Egypt and Kuwait[6]
