Bangaru Murugu is a 2025 Indian Telugu-language family drama film directed by Dokka Phani. Produced by Mutyala Pallaki Creations by Executive Producer Phanindra Gollapalli, and stars Tanikella Bharani, Pradeep, Ratna Sagar, Gundu Sudarshan, Jenny, Anjali, Saraswati, Achu, Vasavi, Dokka Phani, Phanindra Gollapalli, Master Murari, Master Mukunda.
Bangaru Murugu was filmed from March to April 2025, with film score and soundtrack composed by Parthu. Bangaru Murugu is under post production, and scheduled to release in October 2025. "Bangaru Murugu" is a Telugu story written by Sriramana.
Plot
[edit]A story of the intense bond between a grandmother and her grandson. Grandma raises her grandson with great care, love and affection and makes many sacrifices for him. However, on one occasion, for her grandson's wedding, the grandmother melted down her gold jewelry and gave the slag made from it to the wedding celebrant. The story takes an interesting turn when it turns out that the scum is not a golden scum, but a gilded gem.
