"Ball Tongue" is a song by American nu metal band Korn. It was released on their debut album Korn (album) in 1994.
Music and structure
[edit]The song starts with a heavy guitar riff and bassline. Jonathan Davis is on vocals, Brian "Head" Welch on guitar, David Silveria on drums, James "Munky" Shaffer on guitar, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu on bass. The song was produced by Ross Robinson.
According to Songfacts.com, "Ball Tongue" was written because of a person who worked with the band on a t-shirt design. It was said that he "either had a pierced tongue or a wart on his tongue" and that's why the song is called "Ball Tongue."
According to the same source, Jonathan Davis was high on methamphetamine, which contributed to the fact that he was speaking gibberish on the chorus.
