Comment: Editor- the Temples and Notable People sections are still entirely unsourced. Either find sources for these bullet points or remove them. Qcne (talk) 14:22, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
Comment: The external links could be used as sources. Theroadislong (talk) 11:23, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
Comment: please note that we don't use external links in the body of an article. Theroadislong (talk) 10:59, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
Comment: It would help reviewers if you placed the sources directly after the content that they support rather than dump them at the end. Theroadislong (talk) 09:51, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
Comment: I still do not see sources for most of the content of the history section in your article. We need to be able to verify that the information in this article is correct. I suggest finding a couple reliable sources - newspaper articles, books, etc, writing the history section using only the information in those sources no matter what you might know from elsewhere, and adding the citations next to the content they back up so that it's easier for the next reviewer to verify the information. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Rusalkii (talk) 05:43, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
Comment: Large portion of this submission is unsourced. Please add references from reliable sources and avoid original research. Hitro talk 07:11, 15 August 2022 (UTC)

Baigoman is a village in Gaya district, Bihar India.[1] It comes under Punakala Panchayat of Paraiya, a district sub division.[2]
History
[edit]In around 1850, the Tekari Raj granted a portion of its territory to Babu Kashinath Singh Ji, a zamindar of Galimapur in Saran. Kashinath Babu, a warrior from Saran, assisted the then Maharaja of Tekari in resolving a significant water crisis. The solution primarily involved mediating disputes over a southern dam. He also fought against the Nawab of Bengal and zamindar of Sherghati along with the Maharaja of Tekari.
During this period Baigoman was characterized as a non-salute, non-jurisdictional zamindari state, spanning an area of roughly 100 square kilometres. Although the rulers of Baigoman were not formally acknowledged as monarchs, they wielded considerable authority in the Tekari and Gurua regions. Notably, these rulers sided with the Tekari kings in their administrative disputes with the British and were responsible for local taxation, which was used for the development of Tekari town.
The Zamindars of Baigoman and Galimapur belong to the Kachhwaha Rajput clan, originally from Rajasthan. They migrated to Galimapur, where they overthrew the ruling Muslim Zamindar and established their own Zamindari. Known for their valor and governance, they ruled the region with Rajput traditions of justice and honor. Their legacy continues through their descendants, who remain influential in social and philanthropic affairs. [3]
The nationwide abolition of the zamindari system in 1950 led to estate-related disputes in the Tekari region, mirroring conflicts in other parts of Bihar. Subsequent tensions between various communities, including the Rajput, Bhumihar, Dalit, Yadav, and Gareri, intensified. A significant incident in 1979 involved the murder of a Bhumihar individual, which precipitated a series of retaliatory raids on neighboring villages in the following months.[4]
