Anthony "T.A." Tate is an American record producer, music executive, and founder of Music The Label, Inc and Music Line Group based in Atlanta, Georgia. He discovered artist Ciara while holding auditions for pop/R&B group, Dear Jayne. Recognizing her potential as a solo act, his first breakout hit was "Goodies" by Ciara (2004),[1] released with LaFace Records alongside music producer Jazze Pha.[2] The track went on to achieve commercial and critical success and was certified 3x Platinum,[3] placing 31 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Decade-End chart performance 2000-2009.[4] Tate has since worked with high profile recording artists such as Beyonce, Usher, and J Holiday as well as producers such as Lil' Ronnie, Carlos McKinney and The Dream.[5][6] His discography includes records certified platinum by RIAA and Grammy-nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album.[7]
