Andrew Chapman (born April 6, 2005) is an American stock car racing driver. He last competed in the the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 55 for High Point Racing..[1] [2] He was the 2024 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Division 1 Rookie of the Year[3] as well as the 2024 CARS Tour West Rookie of the Year.[4]

Racing career

Andrew began his stock car racing career at age 17 in 2023 in the YOURACELA Spec Late Model Series at the now defunct Irwindale Event Center (Irwindale Speedway) racing the No. 55 for High Point Racing. He finished the series 4th overall. In 2024, Andrew drove the No. 55 Pro Late Model for High Point Racing in the CARS Tour West series. Andrew finished the series as Rookie of the Year and 5th overall.[4] Also in 2024, Andrew drove the No. 55 in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series at Irwindale Event Center (Irwindale Speedway) for High Point Racing, finishing as the Division 1 Rookie of the year, 12th overall, California Rookie of the Year, and 4th overall in California.[3] Andrew's ARCA debut[2][5] was in the 2025 ARCA Menards Series West at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway driving the No. 55 for High Point Racing[6] where he finished 6th.[7]

Personal life

Andrew Chapman, full name Andrew James Bruce Chapman, is a Pasadena, California native. He started kart racing at age 12, securing multiple top podium finishes and championships[8]. Andrew has been a development driver for High Point Racing since 2023, starting in the Spec YOURACELA Spec Late Model Series at Irwindale Speedway. As of 2025, Andrew is driving the No. 55 for High Point Racing in the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. Andrew is a full time student, attending the University of California, Santa Cruz, majoring in Computer engineering, and is also CEO of Chapman Software Solutions, Inc[9]
