Amedeo Avondet (born 19 January 2001 in Moncalieri) is an Italian journalist and political activist. He is the founder and leader of the political movement Italia Unita ("United Italy"). He is known for his views on national sovereignty, his criticism of Atlanticism, and his engagement with geopolitical topics related to Russia and the West.
Early life
[edit]Avondet was born in Moncalieri, near Turin, in 2001. He attended the classical high school Liceo Classico Salesiano Valsalice in Turin.
Journalism
[edit]He began his career writing for the weekly newspaper La Voce e il Tempo. He later contributed to outlets such as Il Giornale d’Italia and Nuova Società.
Avondet also worked as an embedded war correspondent with the 1st Special Forces Brigade "Lupi" of the First Army Corps of Volunteer Forces under the Russian Ministry of Defense. He reported from high-conflict zones in the Russo-Ukrainian War, including Soledar, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Enerhodar.

Political positions
