Akal Youth is a Panthic Sikh youth organization formed to promote the ideology of Sikh sovereignty, Khalsa Raj, and the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The group draws ideological inspiration from Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, who is acknowledged by a section of the Sikh community as the Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib. The organization operates independently of traditional political parties and works to awaken political, religious, and cultural consciousness among Sikh youth. The current president of Akal Youth is Satwant Singh.

Vision and Objectives Akal Youth is committed to:

Upholding Sikh sovereignty and the sovereign status of Akal Takht Sahib. Awakening the youth about historical injustices, especially post-1984 events. Promoting social justice, equality, and resistance against state oppression. Encouraging a drug-free, caste-free, and spiritually disciplined lifestyle based on Khalsa values. Activities and Outreach Akal Youth engages in:

Religious and political awareness drives across Punjab. Organizing youth conferences, Gurbani camps, and Panthic marches. Social media campaigns focused on Sikh issues, prisoners, and Punjab's sovereignty. Supporting Sikh political prisoners and advocating for their release. The organization has a strong base in Malwa, Majha, and Doaba regions of Punjab, with growing support in diaspora Sikh communities abroad.

While mainstream media coverage is limited, its influence is growing among youth disillusioned with conventional politics. The group emphasizes non-electoral activism and Panthic awakening over political power.
