Air Techniques, Inc. is a manufacturer of dental equipment based in Melville, New York. Founded in 1962, the company develops and produces dental air compressors, vacuum systems, digital imaging systems, and infection control products. It is considered the largest manufacturer of dental air and vacuum systems in North America. Since 2012, Air Techniques has operated as a subsidiary of the German dental technology group, Dürr Dental.
History
[edit]Air Techniques was founded in 1962 and introduced early vacuum and air delivery systems for dental practices. Key product milestones include:
