Abdoulie Gaye (born 1995), professionally known as Attack[1], is a Gambian Afro-pop rapper[2], singer, and songwriter recognized for his dynamic contributions to the country's contemporary hip-hop scene.[3] His music, characterised by a fusion of indigenous Gambian rhythms and modern hip-hop beats, addresses themes such as social justice, unity, and personal growth. Gaye began his musical journey performing at local events, gradually gaining recognition for his energetic stage presence and lyrical prowess.[8] His unique blend of Afro-fusion rhythms and contemporary sounds reflects his diverse musical influences.[1]

In 2021, he released the album Tarkayi[9], which showcases his ability to merge traditional Gambian sounds with modern hip-hop elements. [10] [11][12]
