Abdiraxman Abdilaahi Xasan In his role as Police Chief, Abdi Dheere has been actively involved in enhancing international cooperation. In February 2025, he led a high-level delegation on an official visit to the United Kingdom, where they engaged with officials from the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to strengthen ties between the Somaliland Police Force and UK counterparts.[2]
Career
[edit]Before his appointment, Cabdi Dheere served as the official spokesperson for the Somaliland Armed Forces and Police. He has played key roles in both domestic security and public relations.
In February 2025, he traveled to the United Kingdom where he met with officials from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to strengthen cooperation in policing and law enforcement between Somaliland and the UK.[3]
Appointment
