Day would move to New Hampshire in 2009 as a part of the free state project [1][2]
in 2016 Day would run for a united states senate seat in New Hampshire as a independent[3], he would receive 2.40% of the vote[4] after the election he would state he ran to ''knock her [Kelly Ayotte] out'' and took credit for Ayotte's loss[5][3]
in 2018 Day would seek the libertarian party nomination for governor of new Hampshire[1] he would be defeated in the primary by Jilletta Jarvis, receiving 43.9% of the vote[6]
Day lives in Bedford, New Hampshire[1] [7]
