Aapa Shameem is a 2024 Pakistani television series written by Asma Sayani, and directed by Zeeshan Ali Zaidi,[1] produced under the banner of Big Bang Entertainment by Fahad Mustafa and Dr.Ali Kazmi.[2][3][4] It originally aired on ARY Digital from 7 December 2024 to 22 February 2025.[5][6][7]
Plot
[edit]Sarwar lives along with his children, Shameem, Naseem and Bari, after the death of his wife. However, Shameem runs the house and manages the house matters and Sarwar also gives priority to her decisions. Munawwar, Sarwar's brother have two daughters, Saira and Kashaf. Shameem suggests a marriage proposal for Saira and Munawwar being under the influence of Sarwar, marries Saira to Raza, who's actively involve in extramarital affairs.[8][9]
Kashaf is a medical student and wants to marry her class fellow, Murtaza but Shameem after becoming aware of this ensures that Kashaf doesn't get married to him and plots against her. In a turn of events, Kashaf gets married to Bari respecting her elders decisions. Shameem leaves no stone unturned in creating rifts between Kashaf and Bari's relation. The serial depicts the schemes and plotting of how Shameem tries to control and rule over people around her.[10][11][12]

[edit]The show has views in millions on You Tube, released on network's official channel.[17][18][19] In UK, series received good ratings for its storyline and Faiza Hasan's negative role.[20]
