At 4:00AM on March 13th, 2025 in North York County, Pennsylvania, a Ring doorbell recorded a woman who claimed that they were "the Box Demon" left an empty box on someone's front door. The woman wore a paper plate face mask of a flower when the incident happened. Northern York County police officers then identified the woman, which the woman said that she didn't mean to cause harm. Many people referenced the mask to Dandy from the Roblox video game Dandy's World
