The 1911 Regina Rugby Club season was the second season of the team that would eventually become the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. The team changed its colours from their original gold and purple for the first season to blue and white to match the Regina Amateur Athletic Association (they then wore red and black from 1912 to 1947).[1][2]

Regina improved on their winless inaugural season to post a 3-1 record, tying the Moose Jaw Tigers for first place in the SRFU. This led to a one game playoff to determine the SRFU champion. In their first-ever playoff game, Regina defeated Moose Jaw 21-11 to dethrone the Tigers as provincial champions.

As SRFU champions, Regina earned the right to represent Saskatchewan in the inaugural playoffs of the Western Canada Rugby Football Union (forerunners of today's CFL West Division), which had been formed earlier that year. However, they refused to participate in the Western playoffs after the Albertan and Manitoban unions insisted on a format that would have required Regina to play the champions of both unions on the road. After a compromise was reached with the SRFU the following season, Regina would go on to dominate Western Canadian football for the next decade.
