It belongs to Central Kerala Division . It is located 18 KM towards North from District head quarters Painavu. 4 KM from Adimaly. 194 KM from State capital Thiruvananthapuram

1000 Acre is surrounded by Idukki Block towards South , Devikulam Block towards East , Nedumkandom Block towards East , Elemdesam Block towards west .
