Dağıstan İnanç Konukçu (born November 10, 1985, in Ankara) is a Turkish actor.[1]
Early life
[edit]Konukçu was born on November 10, 1985, in Keçiören, Ankara. He is originally from Diyarbakır.[2]
Career
[edit]2005: First acting experience in Karanlıktaki Umut
[edit]In 2005, he had his first acting experience in the TV series Karanlıktaki Umut.
2010–2013: Behzat Ç. series
[edit]From 2010 to 2013, he portrayed the character “Hayalet” (Ghost) in the TV series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi (Behzat Ç.: An Ankara Detective Story), which aired on Star TV and was adapted from Emrah Serbes’s novel Her Temas İz Bırakır (Every Contact Leaves a Trace). The series ran for three seasons and a total of 96 episodes. He also played the same role in the spin-off films Behzat Ç. Seni Kalbime Gömdüm (2011) and Behzat Ç. Ankara Yanıyor (2013). The character “Hayalet” became one of his most recognized roles and significantly contributed to his popularity.
2013-2015: Kaçak, Kasap Havası
[edit]Between 2013 and 2015, he portrayed the character Doctor Nazmi in the TV series Kaçak, which aired on atv.[3] The series ran for 2 seasons with a total of 52 episodes. In 2015, he played a leading role in the film Kasap Havası.
2016–2018: Dar Elbise, Kaçma Birader, Kırlangıç Fırtınası, and Adı: Zehra
[edit]In 2016, he played the role of Nezmi in the film Dar Elbise and the role of Bartender in the film Kaçma Birader. In 2017, he portrayed Hikmet Turaboğlu in the TV series Kırlangıç Fırtınası, which aired on FOX and lasted 7 episodes. In 2018, he played Kadir Keltikli in the TV series Adı: Zehra, which ran for 14 episodes.
2019–2020: Vurgun, Behzat Ç. and Nasipse Adayız
[edit]In 2019, he portrayed the character Kayhan in the TV series Vurgun, which aired on FOX. The series ran for 6 episodes. In the same year, he played the character Hayalet in the fourth season of the rebooted series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi, which was released on BluTV.[4] The fourth season consisted of 9 episodes. In 2020, he starred as Naci in the film Nasipse Adayız.
2021–present: Hükümsüz, Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir, Kalp Yarası, Çekiç ve Gül: Bir Behzat Ç. Hikayesi, Yıldızlar Bana Uzak and Prens
[edit]In 2021, he appeared as a guest actor playing Sami Ören in the 5th episode of the series Hükümsüz, which aired on Exxen, and also as Meto in the TV series Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir.[5] He appeared in 6 episodes of the series. That same year, he portrayed Sinan Sancakzade in the series Kalp Yarası, which aired on atv.[6] The series ran for 32 episodes.
In 2022, he was originally cast as Ethem Marna in the TV series Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam, which began airing on atv, but left the project due to scheduling conflicts with the filming of Çekiç ve Gül: Bir Behzat Ç. Hikayesi.[7][8]
In 2023, he played the character Murat in the series Yıldızlar Bana Uzak, which aired on atv. In 2024, he joined the cast of the series Prens, which is available on BluTV.
