Doneyloop (Irish: Dún na Lúb) sometimes spelt Dunnyloop is a hamlet as apart of Castlefin in the Finn Valley of east County Donegal, on Urney Road. Its in the civil parish of Urney & Castlefin. It is located near the village of Clady, Northern Ireland. Doneyloop has townlands and electoral divisions in Urney West. [1]

St. Columba's church, located at Dunnaloob, Urney West. Is a catholic church built in 1868 and designed by John O'Neill in the Derry diocese. It is apart of the Urney and Castlefin parish along with Saint Mary's Church, Castlefin.[2]

Doneyloop Community Centre and Youth Club, located at Dunnaloob, Urney West. The Community Centre offers the hall for the Urney parish and kitchen. The youth club offers; sports, arts and crafts, quizes and trips.[3]
There is one housing estate in Doneyloop, the Doneyloop Estate is located at Dunnaloob, Castlefin. It has eleven houses and is named after Saint Columba.[4]

Education
[edit]Saint Safan's National school, located at Drumdoit, Castlefin, and has been open since 1994.[19]
Pupils will most likely attend St. Columba's Collage in Stanorlar for secondary education.
Other history
[edit]Saint Bridget's holy well, located at Cormakilly, Castlefin. It is a religious point and is very popular amongst locals.[20]
