John Daniel Pierce (born January 17, 1948) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Memphis Tigers. He was selected in the fifth round of the 1970 NFL draft.[1]
Pierce appeared in two games during the 1970 NFL season, carrying five times for six yards and catching one pass for six yards.[2]
Pierce was a quarterback for Memphis State.[3]
