Dangerous Summer (stylized in all caps) is the seventh extended play by American rapper Yeat, released on August 1, 2025, through Lyfestyle Corporation, Field Trip Recordings, and Capitol Records. It contains guest appearances from NGeeYL, SahBabii, Don Toliver, and FKA Twigs. Production was handled by a variety of record producers, including Bnyx and Jahaan Sweet.

Background, release and promotion

[edit]

During the composition of his fifth studio album Lyfestyle (2024), Yeat would wake up at 7 in the morning recording tracks by his bedside, as confirmed by his manager Zack Bia. The cover art was shot by filmmaker Harmony Korine,[1][2][3] using live alligators.[4] Yeat announced the details for the release of the EP,[1][5][6] following his festival appearances with Drake and Don Toliver on Instagram.[7] It was preceded by single "I'm Yeat,"[2] released on July 18, 2025, alongside its music video, with Bnyx credited as a featured artist,[8] and contains additional contributions from NGeeYL, FKA Twigs, Don Toliver, and SahBabii.[9] The CD was released through Complex Networks.[10] A version of Fly Nite was released for The Sims, featuring only FKA Twigs.[11]
