Dalmanerea is an Argentine rock band, formed in early 2000s by former members of the Olavarría's band "Disculpen al Nono" who at that time were spread among Buenos Aires, Tandil and Olavarria.
Dalma's music mixed various styles (rock, electronic, pop, alternative, punk, techno, rap, disco, metal, and others) in what has been named "meZKla argentina".
In their shows, the band offers a powerful sound, a well balanced power-rock base with strong electronic support, continuous interactivity with the public, and some humorous licenses.
Dalmanerea has released six self-produced albums ("Dalmademox", "Mundo Guz-Kar", "Falta de medicamentos", "Diván de Historias", "Bomba!", "#pornopop", and the 2024 release "Color"), several singles, and has taken part in some collective albums alongside others indie bands. Dalma has also toured extensively throughout the coutry's alternative circuits. Adicionally, the band has published a mystique-of-the-band comic (Dalmaworld) followed by a lot of readers, initiated by Cyvorg and continued by Leee-O, two great Argentinian graphic-artists.
The current version (8.1) is formed by Lex-Loro on lead guitar (and legal advisor), Betolon playing drums, the bass hero Guzza2K, DJ-RickYMendó (deejaying), Petrungaro-I (voice and percussion), MAX-Canter (rhythm guitar and band's magician), the singer and extreme-dancer Varmando, and DalmaIA (our artificial intelligence, supporting sound design, graphics and video). Song-writing is shared by all members, and Lyrics are inspired by Varmando's dreams, enriched by the input of all members, both past and present.
Over time, the team has been complemented (and in some cases continues to be) by the prestigiou talent of iVannette (bass), La-Sombra-Enmascarada (trumpet, armonic, guitar), AndreYta (voice), Dr-Satan (guitar and psycho-spiritual orientation), JoacoLorenzz (voice & fashion), Lupe-Liú (voice and choreography), Mi-Ru (voice), The-Non-Star (voice), Ama-Ly (violin and love, a lot of love), Luk-As (guitar), Luk-Lupa (Drums), Caroluisa (voice), CiroCava (electronic and inspiration), The-White-Monk (music/video production), DannyBass (artistic production), Mai-U (video production), Leeo-X (graphics and music consulting), Polbatmandeluxe (graphic design and poetic support), and the electronic inspiration of the PlayGround duo (Coolo + Tony_GL)
