Career

[edit]

Choladze began his career in 2014 when he participated in the Bank of Georgia's Accelerator VEGA Startup Lab with a loyalty-program concept combining consumer discounts with charitable donations.[1][5]

In 2016, he co-founded Pulsar AI alongside Zaal Gachechiladze.[6][7][8][9][10] The company specialized in natural language processing (NLP) and developed Georgian-language speech-to-text systems, facial recognition tools, and conversational AI products.[11][12] Pulsar AI created chatbot and voice-based customer service tools for TBC Bank and introduced Georgian-language chatbots for messaging platforms.[1]

Pulsar AI was part of Startup Grind Tbilisi’s delegation to Silicon Valley and secured early investment.[11][13] In 2019, the company raised $1.2 million from investors including Ridge Ventures, Great Oaks VC, and NBA player Zaza Pachulia.[14][11][15]

Following the acquisition of Pulsar AI by SpinCar in 2021,[16] Choladze became Chief Innovation Officer at the company, which subsequently rebranded as Impel.[17][18][4][19]

Choladze has been active in Georgia’s startup ecosystem and served as an investor on Shark Tank Georgia, where he funded over ten projects across two seasons.[20][3][21] His work has been covered by publications such as Forbes Georgia,[22][23][24] Entrepreneur,[1][25] and Investor.ge.[26][11] Pulsar AI has also been cited by Georgian government officials in discussions on the country’s technology sector.[7]
