Ctenostoma vairai, or Vaira's comb-mouthed beetle,[2] is a species of tiger beetle.[3] This species is found in Ecuador,[2][3] where it inhabits lower montane rainforests.[4]
Adult females have a length of about 10.5 mm (0.41 in) and are black to pitchy-black.[1]
Etymology
[edit]The species is named in honour of Riccardo Vaira who collected the holotype.[1]
