The Crown Brewery was a colonial-era brewery established in 1867 in Barlowganj, Mussoorie, by Murch & Dyer.[1][2][3] It produced beer and ale for British residents, military cantonments, and local institutions in northern India.[4][5] After a brief closure, it was reopened in the early 1870s. The brewery ceased operations in the early 20th century.[6][7]
