Chironomus jangchungensis is a species of nonbiting midge in the bloodworm family, Chironomidae.[1]

It was first described in 2012 by Han Il Ree,[1][2] with the species epithet, jangchungensis, describing it as coming from Jangchung-dong.[2]

It is endemic to Korea.[3][4]
