Cher: The Memoir is the first of a two-part memoir by the American entertainer Cher. The book was released November 19, 2024 by Dey Street Books in the US[1] and HarperCollins in the UK.[2] Part One details Cher's childhood, her early success, and meeting her first husband, singer-songwriter Sonny Bono; the book spans 1946–1976.[3] Part One debuted at number one on The New York Times Bestseller list and remained on the spot for three weeks.[4][5][6]

Part Two will be published in 2025. Cher first announced that she had begun writing a memoir in 2017.[3]
