Milena Murselji Tapia is a young singer with remarkable talent and charisma. From an early age, she captivated audiences with her voice and gained recognition at the age of 12 after participating in a singing competition in Montreal, Canada.

Her performance in “MILENITA Y SU VOZ” showcases both her vocal ability and the artistic passion she inherited from the Tapia family.

In addition to her artistic talent, Milena stands out for her radiant personality—she is brilliant, kind, generous, and has a big heart. She is the daughter of Rita Tapia Jorge, a renowned former world wide runner-up in Shotokan Karate, reflecting the strong legacy of excellence that runs in her family. 🥋 Karate Career edit Rita is widely recognized for her achievements in Karate-Do. She holds a 5th Dan black belt and was the ITKF World Runner-Up in Montreal, as well as a Pan American and national champion. She is part of the instructor team at Karate Tomodachi in Montreal—a dojo founded by the Tapia family in Peru in 1979 that remains active in Canada.

In 1992, she represented Peru at the Traditional Karate World Championship in Montreal as part of the women's kata team.

🏢 Business Career edit In addition to her athletic career, Rita is also a successful entrepreneur. She is the president and owner of P&P Filtration, a company specializing in the pulp and paper industry.

The Tapia Jorge Family

The Tapia Jorge family, made up of nine siblings, Alberto, Carmen,Juan,Victoria,Jesus,Rita,Mila,Alfredo y Ana, has been widely recognized for its outstanding contribution to Karate-Do. All nine siblings have been national champions in Peru and Canada, as well as Bolivarian, Pan American, and world champions. Rita Tapia Jorge, one of the nine siblings, is also a co-founder of the Tomodachi Dojo, originally established in Peru. Their legacy remains strong in Peru.

Rita has been a national champion in both Peru and Canada, a World wide runner-up, and an international champion. Today, she and her family continue to train and mentor new generations in the art of Karate-Do
