Category:Vanadate minerals

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Vanadate minerals are those minerals containing the orthovanadate (VO3−4), pyrovanadate (V2O4−7), or higher, anion group. The Dana classification[1] groups all vanadates with phosphate minerals, while the Nickel-Strunz classification[2] classifies tetrahedral vanadates as phosphates and V[5,6] vanadates as oxide minerals.
