Category:Councilmen of Copenhagen

This category is for people with title of Rådmand [da] (lit.: Councilmen) prior to the establishment of the present Copenhagen City Council (founded 1840). Together with the city's mayors, they formed the Magistrate (Sanish Magistraten), which was the city's governing body. The Rådmand office existed until 1970. People with title of Rpdmand / Councilman should also be distinguished from the Council of 32 Men, an assembly consulted by the (absolute) monarch on matters that involved the city.

This category is for people with title of rådmand. It was discontinued in 1970.
