Allan Bruce Cline (November 14, 1931 – April 24, 2025)[1][2][3] was a Canadian ice hockey right winger. He played 30 games in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers during the 1956–57 season. The rest of his career lasted from 1952 to 1968 and was mainly spent in the minor league American Hockey League, where he won the Calder Cup, the league championship, four times.[4]

As an AHL rookie in 1955-56, Cline scored 57 points in leading the Providence Reds to a league championship. He won the Dudley (Red) Garrett Memorial Award as AHL rookie of the year.[4] After three seasons in Providence, Cline joined the Buffalo Bisons, reaching the AHL finals.

Cline next moved to the Springfield Indians, where he won three straight titles (1960-62) and was a first team AHL All-Star in 1961 and second team in 1963.[4]

Cline finished out his AHL career playing five seasons for the Hershey Bears. He retired with 321 goals, 452 assists, and 773 points over 823 AHL games in 13 seasons, plus another 58 points in 89 AHL playoff games.[4]

In 2016, Cline was inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame.[4] In 2023, he named to the Hershey Bears Hockey Club Hall of Fame.[5]
