Blood Message [a] is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by 24 Entertainment. The game is set to be released on PC and consoles. The release date has not been announced yet.
Gameplay

The player controls a messenger and his son.[8]
The game involves combat as well as stealth and survival mechanics.[5][6][7][8][9]

Blood Message is set during the late Tang dynasty.[8]
The developers said that they have conducted extensive historical research in order to present a realistic setting, mentioning that this is not a story infused with strong elements of fantasy.[10]
Historically, Zhang Yichao, whose allegiance was with the Tang Empire, led a successful uprising to reclaim the regions of Guazhou and Shazhou.[5] Following the capture of Shazhou, he dispatched ten groups of messengers—most of them ordinary people—across vast and hostile territories to relay the news to the imperial capital of Chang'an.[5] In the end, only one group completed the journey and reached the destination.[5] Adapting these events, the game presents a story centered on one such messenger.[5]

[edit]Blood Message is a game developed by 24 Entertainment.[1][5][6][9][11] The studio is a subsidiary of NetEase Games.[11] The game is built on Unreal Engine 5.[1][6][7][5]
Release
[edit]Blood Message is set to be released on PC and consoles.[2][6][9][8]
Blood Message was unveiled with a trailer on 20 June 2025.[5][12] The trailer showed game footage, both gameplay and cutscenes, all rendered in real-time.[10]
