Belle Jackson is an Australian radio presenter and former radio producer.
She co-hosts Ben, Liam & Belle on Nova 100 with Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton.
Early life
[edit]Belle is the middle of 3 children and primarily grew up in the Melbourne suburb of Camberwell among the estates the family owned. She attended the private school of Methodist Ladies' College in Kew at times being dropped off by her father in his Maserati. At the age of 12 she attended the Melbourne Grand Prix arriving by helicopter.[1] An avid fan of the Hamish and Andy radio show in her teens she was the admin of a Hamish and Andy fanpage and was also a collector and creator of their memorabilia such as a bespoke wooden table featuring news articles of the duo. This was not received admirably by Andy Lee in the Award winning segment by the show.[2]
Career
[edit]Jackson started her career volunteering at SYN FM at the age of 16.
In 2013 she started her professional career at SCA’s Fox and Triple M producing for Tom & Olly.
In late 2016, Harvey and Stapleton were announced to take over from Matt Okine and Alex Dyson as co-hosts of the nationwide Triple J Breakfast show in 2017 where Jackson would join her future co-hosts as a producer for the show.[3]
In 2020 she joined the duo in their departure from Triple J and continued to produce for their breakfast show in Adelaide for Nova 91.9.
In 2023, the show moved to her homecity of Melboune and Nova 100 where she joined the Ben and Liam as a host with the show titled Ben, Liam & Belle.
In her first year of her hosting role she enrolled into the Ben & Liam school of comedy and participated in a show cameo account as herself to gain recognition from the public by delivering messages and incredibly accurate impressions.
In February 2024, Nova Entertainment announced that Jase & Lauren will host Nova 100’s new Melbourne breakfast show, replacing Ben, Liam & Belle who will move to a national drive show across the Nova Network.
Activism
[edit]Belle is a vegetarian[4] (although has been tricked into eating a whole meatlovers pizza) alongside being an animal rights advocate and Cat Protection Society (Vic) ambassador. She decided to adopt her cat Gary[5] and Jefferey the former having lost his left eye and living with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus similar to the Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).
During her hosting duties she has advocated for a 4-day work week with time being allowed for debilitating sickness such as a migraines and for social celebration.
She is also against the practice of fast fashion and advocates for shopping for second hand and used clothing despite a brief episode of shopping at controversial fast fashion site SHEIN. With this advocacy she had the oppourtunity of walking the NEW AGAIN Runway at Melbourne Fashion Festival 2025 for Mutual Muse.[6]
