Avelina Prat (born 1972) is a Spanish filmmaker and script supervisor.

Life and career

Prat was born in Valencia in 1972.[1] Prior to entering the film industry, she worked as an architect.[2] Starting in 2004, she worked as script supervisor for over 30 feature films,[3] including The Queen of Spain, in which she also featured as an actress portraying a script supervisor.[4] She also directed the short films 208 palabras and 3/105 (2014 Venice Film Festival entry).[4]

Her feature film directorial debut, Vasil, premiered at the 2022 Seminci.[5] It was followed by The Portuguese House (2025), which premiered at the 28th Málaga Film Festival.[6]
