Anthony Brian Hannan, known as Tony Hannan, is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Port Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) during the late 1970s.
Playing career
[edit]Hannan joined Port Adelaide in 1977 and was part of the club's senior team that year. He played in the 1977 SANFL Grand Final, contributing to Port Adelaide’s premiership win.[1][2]
He remained with Port Adelaide until 1980. Detailed match statistics for Hannan are not widely available, but he was part of a strong period for the club.
Legacy
[edit]Hannan is remembered as a member of Port Adelaide’s 1977 premiership side. His time at the club coincided with a successful era for Port Adelaide in the SANFL.
