Alim Abubakre is a British-Nigerian senior lecturer in International Business at Sheffield Business School.[1][2][3][4] Prior to working at Coventry University, he was a lecturer at the University of Southampton and Nottingham Management School.[5][6][7][8] He is a Senior Fellow (HEA) at the Advancing Higher Education Academy.[9] He is founder and serving as the non-executive chair of These Executive Minds (TEXEM )[10][11] and is a member of the London Business School Africa Club advisory board.[12][13][14][15][16] He is the director of the Business Council for Africa.[17] He has chaired sessions at the House of commons in the UK for Nigerian senators.[18]
He is a researcher focusing on governance, social issues, and the environment.[19][20][21] He worked with the Poverty Reduction Agency, supported by the World Bank, in Nigeria.[22][23]
Education
[edit]He graduated from the University of Leicester with a Master of Business Administration.[24] He did his doctorate from Southampton University.[25] He is also a Certified Management & Business Educator and Fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.
